Really. After 2020 Artificial Intelligence will surpass human intelligence. I have a prediction, the world will end after tomorrow.
What happened to the good ol days of false propheteering when people would predict something would happen before a date in the not so distant future, or even give an exact date. Now phophets have gotten so unsure of themselves they’re predicting when things won’t happen.
This clown is basically saying that artificial intelligence won’t surpass human intelligence in the next approx 13 years. Amazing call there Shirley. Truely inspired revelation from yet another modern prophet.

If it’s not web-sites, it’s games. Over the past 12 years I’ve created a number of games using a variety of languages. The Archives gives a brief history of all the games I’ve created. I started off with QuickBASIC creating single player games. Then I got into C++ and eventually started making on-line games. Now I mainly create web-sites.
Programming games helps improve my web-development though. A lot of what I learn about optimization and code organization is relavent no matter what the project is. Every year I like to come up with a project to keep up with my offline programming. I’d hate to have spent so many years learning how to code in C/C++ and then stop and have to relearn it all again.
At work I use Perl mainly so I like to develop in PHP on my personal projects to keep up with that langauge as well. By combining all of the skills I’ve learned over the years I can create every aspect of any project. From creating the product to assembling the server, installing software and creating the web-site to advertise and manage the product. All this futzing around with things has paid off.

Somehow the close decendent of a knuckle dragger got this question asked to the Republican presidential candidates. A proper response would have been “Have you stopped beating your wife? Yes or no.” What does it mean to believe in “Evolution?” If you say yes you’re agreeing to God merely being a spectator as all life evolved from a common ancestor. This is obviously not what Christians believe. So the answer for them should be “no” correct?
Well, if you say no, then you’re saying that life doesn’t change. You’re saying you don’t believe in “adaptation.” So the answer isn’t “no” either. The problem is that “Evolution” encompasses scientific fact with fantasy loosly based on science. Those who want to believe they came from knuckle draggers can’t seperate the two. So to them, it’s a “yes or no” question.
And that’s why they ask stupid questions. Their capacity to reason and think for themselves has not yet “evolved.” They can’t understand that evolution is not all or nothing because it encompasses so many different ideas. Their religion simply dictactes that what scientists says is truth.
I don’t know what a “no” vote means, nor do I know what a “yes” vote means. The question is too vague and stupid. But that won’t stop people from asking it.

The MPAA is going nuts with the release of the 16 byte code that unlocks HD-DVDs. The string is popping up all over the internet.
