Evolution v Creation

An evolutionist is someone who sees a dog on a deserted highway and assumes the dog has traveled around the world an infinite number of times over the course of billions of year never to change course or speed.

Meanwhile rational people realize that the dog probably was born not too long ago and is probably lost and wondering aimlessly.

So to is it with mankind.

One of the key points I wanted to make with this diagram is that Religion has no problem with science where science is true science and not the faith based garbage pretending to be science. “Do you believe in evolution?” is a stupid question. For one the term “evolution” encompasses two very distinct ideas: adaptation and all life coming from a single entity (not God). Therefore it is quite possible to answer yes and no and not contradict yourself. Any yes or no question where “yes”, “no” and “yes and no” are all perfectly logically sound responses is a stupid question. Nobody actually knows what is it exactly you are agreeing to or disagreeing with.

The other problem with the question is that it fails to address “when did evolution begin?”

Maybe, just maybe, evolution in the complete sense is possible but that it all started evolving after Adam and Eve sinned. Prior to that everything was perfect and there was no need for adaptation which according to Evolutionists is the basis upon which species evolve into entirely new species.

So really even if Evolutionists manage to come up with examples of a species evolving into another species or that nothing is so complex that it couldn’t evolve it doesn’t prove anything regarding Creationism. It could still all very well have started not too long ago with God.

For everyone, it all had to start somewhere. For the rational religious person, it started with God saying “Let there be” and his fallen creation has since had to change and adapt due to sin. For the fairy tale believing Evolutionist they just keep going back and back and even postulating that it’s all happened infinitly many times before.

Evolutionists like to scream “occam’s razor” to rule out religion.

one should not increase, beyond what is necessary, the number of entities required to explain anything

Let’s see. What’s simpler? “God did it” or “millions and billions of years ago there was an entity that went BANG and then everything randomly assembled and *waving hands* here we are today! It must be true because here we are!”

The evolutionist folly is that by shaving off God with the razor they are studying his handywork but failing to recognize who made it all. Just because you know how a car is built doesn’t mean that no one was needed to build it.

This Movie Doesn’t Say What You Think It Says

I’m a Terrorist Groupie, Hear Me Roar!

A very well written piece on the movie “V for Vendetta” which from one perspective tries to make Islam out to be good. The part about a gay Muslim put to death by the state (Britain) because the Koran is forbidden is unbelievably ironic considering that same person would be put to death (and gays have been put to death) in the Middle East because it’s illegal to be gay and the punishment is in fact death.

It was recently widely reported that a convert was facing death because he stop beliving in Islam. It was also reported that if the state didn’t try him and convict him, he would be killed by the people. Not so surprisingly that convert has left the Middle East and now lives in Italy away from the crazy people that want him dead just because he stopped beliving what they believe.

The final paragraph sums up the irony of the movie.

Britain in “V for Vendetta” is a totalitarian state where the authorities promise peace in return for total submission. Peace for submission, where have we heard this mantra before? I know: Islam. “Islam” means submission, and comes from the same root as “salaam,” which means “peace”. It is curious to notice that in the previous movie by the Wachowski brothers, “The Matrix,” people are turned into slaves and passive tools by living in a make-belief reality designed to pacify them and keep them in chains. In the real world, one fifth of humanity are proud to proclaim themselves “the slaves of Allah,” and consider it their mission in life to make the rest of mankind share their mental bondage.

The whole article points out just how backwards Hollywood has it.

A lot of those in the west see the Western version of Islam. One which is more tolerant of those who reject their religion. Although even that image is eroding with threats being written in to editors of such universities as Arizona State simply because a cartoonist depicted Mohammed to make a very valid point about how ashamed he would be of those who kill in the name of his religion. The threat was a from a student of the university. So you can’t even pretend it was just some wackjob Islamofacist foreigner that holds such hate. It’s right here in our citizens.

Here in Arizona we have an immigration problem. The reaction to new legislation by illegal immigrants here is to march in the streets peacefully. When “disenfranchised youths” (Muslims) decided to protest over in Europe, France literally was set on fire. More recently, new employment laws were being considered and again, France burned. People on all ends of the political spectrum are finding it harder and harder to sympathize.

I think that illegal immigrants should be deported and forced to go through the proper channels just like everyone else. But I’m thankful that their objection to such views that many others share with me has not resulted in destruction of property and other violence. If it did, they would all be shipped out tomorrow. Americans can be very sympathetic but they’re not stupid.

“Evolution is Not a Religion” ™

Fossil shows how fish made the leap to land

Researchers have long known that fish evolved into the first creatures on land with four legs and backbones more than 365 million years ago, but they’ve had precious little fossil evidence to document how it happened.

Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

But since the researchers claim to “know” instead of using the correct word “believe” I guess that means they weren’t accepting their view on faith but rather knowledge despite the lack of evidence. Oh but wait. It doesn’t. There are many things about science that aren’t faithbased. Evolution isn’t one of them. Evolutionists often claim to “know” when in fact they actually “believe” because they have little to no evidence to support what they “know” to be true.

When a Creationist says they “know” God exists, evolutionists will be the first to point out that it’s only “faith” since there’s little to no evidence to support the notion that God exists.

Frogs start in the water as tadpoles and then end up on land. No evolution required. Happens in a single generation every generation. Alligators live on land and water. Oooooh.

About 375 million years ago, the creature looked like a cross between a fish and a crocodile. It swam in shallow, gently meandering streams in what was then a subtropical climate, researchers say. A meat-eater, it lived mostly in water.

Wow, that dating convienently fits with their preconceived notion developed prior to any evidence existing that it happened more than 365 million years ago. It must be true! Hold on while I reject God!

Oh I get it. The *ringtones* are free. You’re paying for the *subscription* and on top of the subscription fees you’re also paying for the data transfer. And all it takes is giving them your phone number.

Free Ringtone Heaven has no subcription fees. We don’t need your phone number (we don’t request any of your information). And you can download as many ringtones as you want. All you pay is the data transfer fees that may be charged by your cell phone carrier. Free Ringtone Heaven recieves no financial gain from users downloading ringtones.

Never give your phone number to a ringtone web-site. They don’t need it and chances are you’re going to be billed for the so called “free ringtones.”

Site Update

FreeRingtoneHeaven.com is currently in the process of a complete database update. I’ve gone through and reorganized and stripped down the ringtones. Indie-Mobile will remain as is but FRH will contain less ringtones for the sake of a better organization of those ringtones.

Ringtones from Indie-Mobile that were not named descriptively or not placed in a descriptive directory have been deleted. As a result FRH contains less than half the ringtone files of Indie-Mobile but I hope they’re a lot easier to browse through. We’ll see later how many ringtones are available to download at Indie-Mobile vs FRH.

As always, don’t ignore the search box. Both sites use the entire text content of the midi files to make finding ringtones based on song titles or band names incredibly easy.

Bitter Angry People

Luntz focus group tests the early 2008 Dem field

Comment by “Kos” himself:

I have an inherent distrust of focus groups, but take this as you may. I’m sure it has its nuggets. Especially the part about “passion”. That’s what I’m looking for. Passion.

Of course, the line between “passion” and “angry” is a thin line indeed, especially with a hostile conservative-controlled media setting the terms of the debate.

When’s the last time a rational person who was passionate about something told you there was a fine line between his passion (for say sports) and anger?

From dictionary.com: Passion - A powerful emotion, such as love, joy, hatred, or anger.

There is no fine line between “passion” and “anger.” One is simply an adjective to describe the intensity of the other. One does not become the other.

Perhaps Kos was thinking of this alternate definition:

“An abandoned display of emotion, especially of anger: He’s been known to fly into a passion without warning.”

What a sad little man. He can’t even be passionate about something without being angry. No wonder every politician he’s ever supported has lost. People don’t like angry people. See Howard Dean.
